Dot & Line Brewing — A Year of Brand Content

Dot & Line Brewing Co. ✦ 2024 ✦ Brand Content · Shot, Cut & Animated A brewery’s year, one reel at a time. A full year of always-on content for Fort Wayne’s Dot & Line Brewing Company — drop teasers, canning-day BTS, merch and food-truck reels, and two annual collabs people wait all year for. I planned the shoots, ran the camera, cut it in Premiere Pro and animated the flourishes in After Effects. The gig Dot & Line drops a new beer almost every week — which means the feed can never go quiet. Across the year I shipped 70+ reels as the one-person crew — planning the drop calendar with the taproom manager, writing shot lists and directing canning days, going run-and-gun when the taproom filled up, and finishing everything through a Premiere-to-After-Effects pipeline. Daily Drip — the cafe collab A once-a-year collab with local cafe Penny Drip: a 10.2% imperial oatmeal stout conditioned on Tanzanian vanilla beans and espresso. I teased it with an animated can swimming in coffee beans, then covered release week from behind the bar. Sugar Cookie — the one they wait for The annual Cookie Cottage collab: a golden stout brewed with actual sugar cookies. The coming-soon tease pulled comments like “I’ve been waiting all year for this” before a single can was poured — then canning-day BTS and the release reel carried it home. Merch, food trucks & the everyday feed Between drops, the feed stays alive: a hat-drop reel, food-truck nights, taproom moments — the unglamorous weekly work that builds a local following one post at a time. The crown: the anniversary reel For the brewery’s 3rd anniversary collab with Pop Pop Balloon, I filmed, edited and animated a behind-the-scenes reel celebrating two local brands teaming up — 47,000+ views across platforms, the account’s biggest hit. “Always-on content isn’t about one viral hit. It’s about being worth following on a random Tuesday — so when the big drop lands, everyone’s already watching.”
